KITCHEN RENOVATION PROCESS.

HOW WE WORK

Here’s what to expect from your  kitchen  construction project.

YOUR KITCHEN RENOVATION IS TRANSFORMED INTO AN EXPERIENCE THAT’S AWESOME, EXCITING AND REWARDING!

STEP 1

CONCEPT, DESIGN AND PLAN

CALL &  FREE IN-HOUSE CONSULTATION

During the initial phone call we’ll schedule a visit to your home or property to see the space and talk about your project. We’ll discuss design priorities and aesthetic preferences, examples of kitchen cabinet style/material/accessories  you like.

The goal of IN-HOUSE  consultation  is to gather enough information to prepare the  preliminary design  specification and   preliminary budget.  We’ll help you understand current labor and material costs.

DESIGN AGREEMENT

Our realistic budget guideline will be presented to you in a written format via  e-mail, or personal presentation. Once you approve this information, we will enter in to a construction agreement and move forward with preliminary design. We will ask you to sign a Design Agreement, so that our in-house designer can begin developing concepts, plan and design   for your project in details.

DESIGN PHASE 1

Together, you and our designer  will decide on the kitchen cabinets layout,  colors and materials for the cabinets, counters, backsplash and flooring, as well as the lighting fixtures, plumbing fixtures and other accessories. You’ll be presented with plan and concept of your kitchen. Our designer will present you with plans /design that not only respect your tastes and needs, but also take ergonomics and space optimization into consideration.

STEP 2

CONTRACT

FINAL ESTIMATE

Now that we’ve got the details worked out, we’ll provide you with a Final Estimate. The Project Manager will present you with the final plans for your future kitchen, including any additional work to be performed (moving a sink, demolishing a wall, etc.). You will be given two amounts that will add up to the final price of your new kitchen. The first one is for the cabinets, handles, countertops, backsplash, tiles and all the other materials that will be used, while the second one covers the labor of installing them.

With our method, you’ll avoid any unpleasant budgetary surprises.

CONTRACT

Signing a contract means we’re in agreement on the scope, timeline and budget. We’ll go through the contract in as much detail as you’d like and give you expectations for construction. Then we’ll sign on the dotted lines and receive a deposit to make it official.

STEP 3

KITCHEN CABINETS FABRICATION AND RENOVATION

SCHEDULING

With your timing preferences in mind, we will decide on a start date. With the construction schedule established, our project team will plan everything: subcontractors, crew members, inspectors, material deliveries and more.

PRE-CONSTRUCTION

And we’re off! We have a pre-construction meeting with the whole team, including you, which covers everything from alerting neighbors about construction to ordering cabinets.

WEEKLY MEETINGS

We’re as thorough in the last week as we are in the first.  We’ll hold Weekly On-Site Meetings with you, at your chosen time, to discuss the progress. We want you to be a part of your project and know what’s going on.
